Miter Station Build Part 2

The second step of the miter station build was to make the double cabinet on the left side of the station. I wanted to make these longer to support whatever wood I will need to cut, as well as to give even more storage for my ever-growing tool collection.

For these cabinets, I will be putting on one wide drawer up top, and an adjustable shelf in the lower portion. This will give me some more options with my storage needs.

I intentionally didn’t connect the first cabinet to the toe-kick until I was ready to install these cabinets. I then leveled all three toe-kicks with each other, and then placed the cabinets on top and screwed them together. The result is 9 feet of cabinets, along with a 2-foot space ready for the miter saw soon. The overall station is going to be 11 feet long!
